Feelings come and go

The following is a poem by a very talented friend of ours, Tricia Demery.

Feelings come and go,

they ebb and flow,

just catch the ones that make you happy,

and let the feeling of feeling crappy,

pass you by and out to sea,

stay near the shore, hold on you'll see,

the tide will swing your way again,

and in you'll float and then...

well then, you'll see that you can ride the waves,

that you are buoyant and you are brave,

for that's the way it always goes,

the ocean’s tides, the ebbs and flows,

in and out and out and in,

but this time round my friend you swim.
